- This painting is mostly about myself. I love the life I live, going out day trips. Feeling the light seasalt spray as I walk along the sand. Looking at all the colours of the shells. But recently, I travelled inland to see some family. As I drove further and started to pass familiar spots. So many memories came back. The times I sat by the billabong collecting water lillies. Listening to the breeze flow through the paper barks. I called this painting where saltwater meets freshwater to express that I am proud to be a part of both.
