- Artist Statement
- Tenuous Vessel continues my fascination with transforming reclaimed materials into forms that hold memory and resilience. Using cut-edge textures, I reshape discarded cardboard into a woven vessel freed from function, reflecting my belief that fragility can carry strength and meaning. The slow process of cutting, threading, and binding became meditative and emotional, a way of working through tension and repair. Each joining becomes a quiet gesture of connection, honouring renewal and the possibility that something tender and enduring can emerge from what was once overlooked.
