- Artist Statement
- My painting practice explores the dense, luminous energy of the Australian bush, where water, light and foliage overlap in shifting veils of colour. I layer gestural marks and translucent washes to suggest movement, memory and ecological fragility, rather than strict realism. Immersive scale invites viewers to feel enveloped by the landscape, noticing subtle tensions between chaos and harmony, growth and decay.
