- Emma Matthews is a Sydney based artist who has Downs Syndrome. This piece has so much energy … where to start and where to end. Much of Emma’s work has a kaleidoscopic quality to it, which is achieved by using the kaleidoscope app in her art practice to inform new works with layers of intricate abstractions. Transforming what we may view as mundane into a symphony of electric energy.
