- In this work I continue my study of motherhood and family, ancestral ripples and the stories we tell. Sometimes I meet the challenges of motherhood with a smile, a sigh, a surge of strength or a primal roar from deep within. I seek divine interventions, grasping in joy or grief, oftentimes lost in the wilderness of our mutual isolations without any formal rituals to anchor me. I turn to my histories, dreaming of family long gone, calling for a sign, begging for a visit. Seeking out in nature what already resides inside of me.
