- I am passionate about birds and photography and love to combine the two by creating digital painterly images through layering, textures and filters. This particular artwork reflects my love of birds but also hopes to raise concern for their future. I believe it is important to raise awareness about how our everyday actions impact our birds’ health and wellbeing. For example, our ongoing use of rodent poisons results in secondary poisoning in our raptors, including owls. I am concerned that in the future the only way we will be able to view birds is through photographs, videos and holograms.
