- I was hoping to raise awareness around the deaths of migratory birds I found dead on the beaches at Catherine Hill Bay during an artist residency in 2024. I was made aware of an article suggesting it is the warming waters killing their food source which is responsible. Experts warn the warming climate is interfering with the migratory bird's food source, causing them to starve to death upon arrival for breeding season. The unfamiliar landscapes due to soil erosion are further keeping these birds from surviving. We can all work together to fight climate change and stop further degradation to
