- 'From Breath' is a durational silverpoint drawing created through breath, movement, and sound. Playing a giant silver flute of my own making, I stepped in rhythm around a canvas for seven hours, exhaling as I dragged the flute across its surface. The flute left a silver trace, marking each gestural breath. The drawing and its accompanying sound file invite the viewer to listen as they look—the resonance of the flute intertwining with the visual traces of breath and movement. 'From Breath' explores the materiality and resonance of breath, leaving marks that are both visual and sonic, structured yet ephemeral.
