- Artist Statement
- Bridget Kelly is a Sydney-based abstract artist with a chromosome to spare. Working primarily with vibrant Posca pens on paper and wood, Bridget uses art as a powerful form of communication. Mostly non-verbal, her practice allows her to express herself and connect with the world. Making art brings Bridget great joy, and she loves sharing that happiness with others. Her bold colours, dynamic shapes, and dotted forms transform everyday inspirations into playful abstract compositions. Bridget carefully adds dots and thoughtfully colours every space between them. Inspired by favourite foods, places, and people, her intuitive process evolves into vibrant abstract works
