- In this painting, Veronica Daniels honours her mother Sarah Daniels' Country, Mina Mina, through vibrant colours and intricate dot work. The circular shapes represent tjurnu (waterholes), which hold deep spiritual significance. The colourful sections celebrate the mangarri (bush tucker) abundant in this region, including kumpupatja (bush tomato), ngaarlukutu (bush coconut), and tjirrilpatja (bush carrots). Veronica’s skilled use of dots captures the landscape's texture and the rhythms of life in the desert. Through this work, she invites viewers to connect with the stories and sustenance provided by Country.
