Ravenswood Australian Women’s Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize
Supported by the Tritton Family

Proud supporters of the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize, the Tritton family has generously contributed to the Ravenswoodcommunity over the past six years, including as members of the Ravenswood Foundation and the Ravenswood Parent Association (RPA). In 2019, Don Tritton commenced his role as President of the RPA.

“The importance of supporting Indigenous art from our perspective is to do our bit in helping female artists to receive greater recognition via the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize platform. We have a keen interest in indigenous art and love their works as each piece tells a story, remembering that they had no written language and told stories through their drawings and artworks.” (Don and Tina Tritton)

RM Williams Outback

R.M.Williams OUTBACK is a multi award-winning bi-monthly magazine that captures the essence of remote Australia and, by showcasing it in a positive way, brings alive a world that is unknown to many people.

For more than 20 years, OUTBACK has celebrated life beyond the city – anywhere that is remote, different, challenging and non-urban. It is in south-west Tasmania, the High Country of Victoria, and along the Great Divide in New South Wales, just as much as it is in central Australia.

The subjects covered are as diverse as the outback itself: station owners, ringers, stockmen, farmers, travel and hospitality – industry operators, pilots, doctors, miners, artists and teachers ... anyone who has a close involvement with the outback.
